Intern Responsibilities

Job Description: Throughout the course of my 400 hours at Splitsville I worked almost every
position in the building. With a focus in Assistant Manager and waitress I
was in charge of making sure every staff member had the proper tools
needed in order to perform their job. Beyond floor control, my job was to
encourage and inspire a culture of hospitality excellence.
Requirements: This job requires a high school diploma as well as experience in the
restaurant industry. Although not required, a supervisory position is highly
recommended.
Benefits: This position pays approximately $10 an hour with paychecks given every
other Thursday. There are no medical or 401k benefits for interns. However,
the opportunity to make new professional connections amongst customers
and staff is the most rewarding benefit.
Achievements: My biggest achievement throughout this process was learning the different
managerial techniques, adopting them, and then perfecting them to the
best of my ability.
